10 Designers to Follow on Instagram
Instagram can be a great place to get inspired. There are so many great designers to follow across all disciplines. Illustrators, typographers, lettering artists, 3d and motion artists. We will cover all those in separate posts. For now, follow these designers to get inspired for your next project. This list is in no way complete, and there are dozens of other designers that are a must follow as well. We will cover them in the future posts. This list is arranged in no particular order and I love them all, just Draplin a little more (;.
Aaron James Draplin(@draplin)
Aaron James Draplin is a true superstar of the design communtiy. He is arguably the most loved designer alive. Apart from his very distinct style of design, Draplin is known for his super fun talks and merch he sells on his websitre, draplin.com. He also has a collection of great Skillshare classes, which I highly recommend. He also has a book, Pretty Much Everything, which I also highly recommend. He sometimes comes live on Instagram on Friday evenings and walks us through a project he is working on. These are called Factory Floor Fridays, and apart from being great for learning, are super fun too.

Mohamed Samir is highly decorated multidisciplinary designer and typographer. With a lot of his work in Arabic, Mohamed also does a lot of branding work and product design. I also highly recommend his Behance page as a great source of inspiration.
Brandon Nickerson(@bmnicks)
Brandon Nickerson is freelance designer based out of New York City. His work ranges across branding, type design, lettering and web design. He announces the release of his new typefaces on his Instagram and makes it available for limited time. So better follow him and get your hands on some beautiful fonts.
Fran Velasco(@seabellstudio)
Fran Velasco’s work consists mostly of packaging design along with branding and custom lettering. He also has a few typefaces out. His is one of the most unique ways of doing the 36 Days of Type I have seen.

Brock Forrer is a designer and illustrator who mostly makes badges and vintage American style inspired work.

Scott Fuller is designer based out of Atlanta who does branding and illustration work. Apart from Instagram, he often has workshops on Dribbble and other places.

As described by himself, Elliot is the funniest graphic designer ever. He has the best design comedy content on Instagram. Follow him to have a good laugh and also be inspired, because his work is very well designed. Apart from his Instagram, he has a good YouTube channel and also does live streams on Twitch every once in a while.
